Select where you want the return address to be placed. 2. Get a compass to draw out a circle with a pencil. If you are anything like me, you would have thrown your Mathematical set containing a compass decades ago. In which case, grab any round-shaped item to trace out a circle. 3. What is "words on wings"? I love having floating frames and wanted to create hand lettering pieces that showcase their transparent beauty. First, take a plastic sheet and cut it to size to be able fit the frame of your choice. I used some OHP transparency sheets. 2. Take a piece of paper to do a draft. I did a draft on paper first, in pencil, to see if I like it. For the "Music" piece, I did measurements on paper first so that the 5 lines could fit and could be as symmetrical as possible. 3. Once I am happy with how it looks on paper, I place the transparency piece on TOP of paper and trace out the lettering on the transparency.
